Bridesmaid was founded in 2009 in Columbus, Oh. Following the axiom ‘Maximum Volume Yields Maximum Results,’ their live shows are an exercise in tone and feel. The sludgy, plodding dual bass guitar attack shakes the very building while the unrelenting drums pound on and on.

Reverbed vocals when there is vocals.They are a slower tempo band at times dronish but also have times of explosive power and just assualt the ears and shake the ribs with feedback,along with ambient moments.
I went and saw this band on the weekend of the cd release show at Carabar right here in Columbus.This had been my second time seeing Bridesmaid, and this time they put on a pretty fucking good show.This band just crushes you with bass.They are a well put together trio of just pure lo-end slow doomy dronish rythms then explode into just rifftastic sludge.
